MythMatch
January 14th, 2007No, I don’t have a lithsp.
I am actually talking about a cool game that I tried today, MythMatch. It’s just like Zuma, but with prettier graphics, and the player can choose to be either a wizard or a sorceress (the difference is that the ‘powerballs’ have different effects). There are also gems and jewelry that randomly fall from flying fairies that give bonus points if you catch them.
The full version costs $19.99 to unlock - and it just might be something that I end up getting. We’ll see how it goes. It’s pretty though, and the sound effects are cool.
Titan Quest
December 21st, 2006The LotR and I just bought each other games for Christmas with the understanding that we can begin playing right away, instead of wrapping them up and tantalizing each other with them for five more days. I bought him RocketSlime for the DS, and he bought me TitanQuest for the PC.
Here are some screenshots from TitanQuest.
By the way, I canceled my World of Warcraft account today. Who knows, maybe someday I’ll want to play it again… but that day is not anytime soon.
Guild Wars Screenshots
November 29th, 2006A nice alternative to World of Warcraft or other games is Guild Wars… I don’t play often, but this afternoon, after printing out all of my homework assignments, I played for a little bit.
I started new character - a Mesmer (basically a mage with healing qualities) and also picked up some Necromancer skills.

There is some great scenery in the game…

Inside town, I found that there was also a sort of dungeon:

The graphics are awesome in Guild Wars, but I’m still kind of confused as to the world in general. Where to learn new skills? How to equip better armor? I supposed I could read the manual…
