A couple of days ago, the LotR and I moved around a bunch of heavy furniture. Our ‘guest room’ was transformed into my office, and the corner of the living room that had housed my desk is now a cozy little sitting area. We found an amazing, hand-carved (custom-made in 1965) German table on craigslist which we went to pick up this afternoon. We also stopped at IKEA where I found a few frames to frame some of my old sheet music.

I picked up this print in Prescott last weekend.

Sarah wasn’t. Look at those evil eyes.

Question for the Dr.:

“I woke up this morning with a parched throat, throbbing head and unexplained bruises after spending the night with really strange dreams about neon lights, blaring beats and cuban guys from LA. What’s wrong with me?!”

Possible Explanation: “Lay off the hallucinogens, ma’am.”

More Plausible Hypothesis: “Have you been in Las Vegas recently?”

**pause**

“Well, yes. As a matter of fact, I have!”

(and many things happened which now allow me to answer ‘yes’ to more of those ‘have you ever done’ myspace surveys. ahem.)

((… all while remaining a good, faithful hausfrau to the LotR and not making the bank account go bankrupt.))

Mayhaps some photos will follow - due to the downing of 3/4 a bottle of cherry vodka before even venturing out of the hotel room, I may have forgotten about my camera for the majority of the trip.

there were lots of midgets in Las Vegas. Don’t ask me why.

Highlights included the Cirque du Soleil show, Zumanity, the club at the Luxor, and the awesome bangles I found for $6 at H&M.

See if you can find the two people in here that are 1) my grandma, and 2) my uncle and his family at a family reunion.

We’re back from a nice weekend in Flagstaff! While it rained on our hike and my ankles were swollen up like logs (they’re better now), it was such a good time… getting away from the Phoenix heat and routine weekend monotony. I didn’t take any photos at ALL until the LotR and I were on our way back. Sorry.
