Object Pronouns….?

February 25th, 2007

Okay, so I barely remember what exactly an object pronoun is, and now I’m supposed to learn them in Spanish. How hard can a word like ‘it’ be? Pretty fucking hard, it seems. Depending on the gender and person of the verb/noun, ‘IT’ could be either ‘lo’, ‘le’, ‘me’, ‘te’, ‘la’, ’se’, ‘nos’, ‘los’, ‘las’, ’se’, or ‘les’. It’s driving me fucking crazy.

One more month, and then I’m done with the stupid class. Until Spanish II, that is. Freaking foreign language class requirements, and they don’t even offer the languages that I want to learn, which would be Swedish right now.

Kameo is enjoying her new role as my desktop decorator.

It seems that whatever it was that I was sick from is slightly abating. My head no longer feels like a wooden club, and my nose and eyes are no longer incessantly dripping faucets. The LotR, however, just got It.

I’m going to go bundle up that Kameo gal and take her to a nice cushy blanket and go to sleep.

Adios.

  1. I think “it” could only be la, lo, se, and le. I mean, maybe there are some instances for those other pronouns, but I can’t think of any right now and it seems unlikely. Spanish is fun!
