Get ‘er Done
November 19th, 2008It’s amazing what one can get done once one forces oneself to do it! My freaking Children’s Literature chapter three was over 100 pages long! But… I read it. Well, skimmed over the last 40 pages or so. Can you say ‘exhaustion’? I wanted to go take a hot bath right then. BUT. I made myself start the homework questions. I wasn’t going to finish them… just get started. But every time I started to stop, it just felt kind of… lazy.
So I finished all of those awful questions. Two whole pages of very small handwritten text. Now to put them in electronic format and submit them…
Still to go? A 500-700 word essay on six children’s picture books and a project proposal for my other class.
I’m trying to get this all done because the LotR and I are going up to Prescott this weekend to catch Saltimbanco by Cirque du Soleil. We’ll be staying with friends in a cabin that night. Fun!
My diet the past two days has gone kaput… thanks, Papa John’s pizza and spicy buffalo wings 
I’ll be back to fish and salads tomorrow.
